Energy bills increasing month by month, with no end in rising prices predicted for the foreseeable future? Want to learn about solar energy and home energy efficiency so you can make an educated choice to make an investment in your home that will add to its value, while at the same time greatly trimming its energy costs, and reducing your carbon footprint?
The Essex Greens Clean Energy Campaign and Ethical Culture of Essex have you in mind as it presents a forum on Going Solar. You will learn whether your home or business has the potential for a solar conversion, and learn lots of other ways to save money while you save energy and the planet.
Solar energy can provide a significant offset to your electric bill (or even eliminate it). In fact, in the hours of peak sun (summer or winter), your electric meter can actually run in reverse, meaning you are selling energy back to PSE&G. Solar can also be used to heat water for your bathing, dishwasher or swimming pool.
People will be on hand to answer all of your questions on the physical requirements, and the state and local incentives to help make this a worthwhile endeavor. Experts will be present to talk about what a home energy audit can do for you. To capitalize on a solar installation, energy conservation is recommended, that an energy performance survey can best determine.
Even if you don’t solarize, you still would want your home to be as energy efficient as possible. Learn efficiencies from the experts. Think green while saving green.
