Unlimited: Renewable Energy in the 21st Century
—first public showing!
The New Dream: The 3rd Wave of Environmentalism
These two videos will help you understand the importance of renewable energy
and green jobs to solving the climate and economic crises.
Unlimited: Renewable Energy in the 21st Century, produced by local independent filmmakers Daniel Califf-Glick and Barbara Azzoli, explains the benefits of moving away from fossil fuels and toward a sustainable, renewables-based energy system. Through expert commentary and by turning the camera on a passionate and articulate group of 6th grade environmentalists, Unlimited creates awareness of some of the major paths toward energy independence:
solar, wind, tidal, transportation and food.
The New Dream: The 3rd Wave of Environmentalism features Van Jones, Ian Kim, Raquel Pinderhughes, Paul Hawken and Julia Butterfly Hill. It briefly outlines the first and second waves of environmentalism and explains why the third wave, one committed to environmental justice, green jobs, pathways out of poverty and strong action on the climate crisis, is so important today.
